Funded learning

Practical skills should be within reach

Iroko Skills Academy works with sponsors and mission-aligned organizations to fund course access for eligible learners. Every program publishes what it covers, who may apply, how decisions are made, and how many seats are available.

How the scholarship process works

Step 1

Find an open program

Review the eligible courses, award value, available seats, requirements, deadline, and selection timeline before applying.

Step 2

Submit one application

Tell us only what is needed to assess the published criteria. You can follow the application status from your learner dashboard.

Step 3

Receive a documented decision

Authorized reviewers record each decision, its rationale, and the decision date. An application does not guarantee funding.

Step 4

Learn with funded access

Approved learners receive the stated course or cohort entitlement. The award notice explains its duration and any participation expectations.

Clear, accountable decisions

Awards cannot exceed the program’s funded seat and budget limits. Each decision is attributed to an authorized reviewer with a timestamp and rationale. Program criteria—not automated AI recommendations—determine eligibility and selection.

Privacy with purpose

We collect only the information needed to administer the application. Sponsors receive approved aggregate reporting with clear denominators and missing-data context. Applicant details are not disclosed without an appropriate lawful basis and, where required, your consent.

What an award may include

  • Access to a selected self-paced course or learning pathway
  • A sponsored seat in a time-bound cohort
  • Eligible assessment and credential access stated by the program
  • Program-specific learner support or mentorship when offered

Awards are not cash payments, employment offers, or guarantees of certification or career outcomes. The specific benefit and completion requirements are shown before you apply.
