Accessibility

Updated: October 18, 2026

Iroko Skills Academy is committed to an inclusive learning experience. We work toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA and improve the platform as standards, content, and assistive technologies evolve.

Navigation and structure

We use semantic headings, landmarks, labels, predictable navigation, visible keyboard focus, and controls that do not require a mouse.

Visual presentation

We aim for readable type, sufficient color contrast, meaningful status text, zoom-friendly layouts, and reduced-motion support. Color is not the only way important information is communicated.

Learning content

Course authors are encouraged to provide descriptive titles, structured text, captions or transcripts where applicable, and alternatives for activities that create an unnecessary access barrier.

Devices and connectivity

Core pages are responsive and designed to remain useful on smaller screens and constrained connections. Course pages disclose known device or connectivity requirements before enrollment.

Assistive technology

We test important journeys with keyboard-only interaction and automated accessibility checks, and we work toward compatibility with current screen readers and browser accessibility features.

Request help or an accommodation

If a feature or course creates a barrier, use our contact form. Tell us the page or course, what you were trying to do, the barrier you encountered, and any assistive technology you use if you are comfortable sharing it. Do not include passwords or sensitive medical information. We will acknowledge the report, offer a reasonable alternative when available, and prioritize a durable fix.

Third-party content

Some payment, video, document, AI, or external opportunity services are operated by third parties. We select and configure providers with accessibility in mind, but we do not control every external experience. Please report a third-party barrier so we can help identify an alternative and raise the issue with the provider.
